From the ‟Emergency” 1985 horizontal on Wednesday 26th December 2007, in which we tasted Dow 1985, Infantado 1985, two bottles of Ramos Pinto 1985, Graham 1985, Warre 1985, Croft 1985, and Offley 1968 Colheita.
The following day, Thursday 27th December 2007, these bottles were joined by Taylor 1985 and Andresen 1985.

Infantado 1985
Infantado 1985, my first taste of this house. A lot of nose, with something floral violets perhaps. Later was thought lemony. Very hot to taste, then smooth and rich. An imperfect finish that some (RSH + JG) thought ‟bitter”. But the initial taste rich red fruit. For me the ending just dries out (rather than being bitter).
hazy pale red with a brownish tint.
light nose of something floral? Backed by a honey graham cracker nose.
This definitely had a great delicate smell that you need to dig for.
taste is a bit watered but it's got great red fruit and honey.
The finish is very disappointing with a sharp bitter tobacco finish that lasts about 30 seconds.

Infantado 1985
Hangover gone; glasses cleaned; dinner cooking. Time to write-up my tasting notes.
On the second day the Infantado was mid-red, though not as opaque as some. Nose, in so far as there was any at all, of candied cherry. But a great clingy oily mouthfeel, coating the mouth really well and a dry ending of spice. Also worthy of a ‟☺”.
