1989 Burmester Vintage Port

Post by RonnieRoots »

Tasted during our yearly port evening with friends.

Evolved nose with toboacco and cooked vegetables. This port is drinking nicely at first. A bit simple and short, but with nice, soft flavours of prunes and figs. But later, this is growing to be very unpleasant. Alcoholic and green on the nose, with a rather chemical taste. Stevie and LadyR believe it may be flawed. I just think it's not that good. NR.
