NV William Pickering Tawny 20YO (bottled 2013)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Produced by Quinta do Noval for Berry Brothers & Rudd. Bottled 2013. Orange-amber colour with an orange rim; 50% opaque. Nosing strongly of ground almonds. Honeyed oranges on the palaye, sweet but with a balancing citrus acidity. Honey sweetened grapefruit on the finish. This is very sweet but comes across as being a little unbalanced. 87/100. Drunk 11-Jul-14
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
