2004 Croft LBV

Post by jdaw1 »

On Wednesday 29th October 2014 some obvious suspects (JDAW, DRT, MPM, THRA, IDJ, BMHR, RLC) gathered to test the Board Room in Davy’s at Plantation Place (Mincing Lane EC3R 7BD, +44 20 7621 9878, streetmap.co.uk, maps.google.co.uk, bing.com).

Recalling that we held a small vertical of Croft at The Bung Hole on Monday 16th January 2012, originally for the purpose of testing the then-new location (planning and arrangements, review of the evening as a whole), this Croft theme was repeated.

Cr04 LBV. There’s a remnant of a half-bottle opened last night. There’s a half-bottle decanted 13:30. And there’s a half-bottle not yet opened.

The remnant will need a control test at around 6pm.

Didn't take a note on this, but from memory it was not unlike the 02 LBV for me.

Cr04 LBV. No note taken, but very fine and good value juice. Full of young fruit, in good balance, and splendid value for money. We drank it all, with pleasure.
