1970 Sandeman
Ex-cellars. Burnt orange colour with a burnt butterscotch colour core. Elgant, floral nose but with quite a lot of heat. Very soft on entry, with a lovely velvet texture. Soft and sweet on the palate, a little light and with lots of caramel flavours wrapped around gentle mandarin and tangerine. Lovely complexity and elegance. Sweet cherry aftertaste, then a delicious gentle and lingering tangerine jelly. Rather delicious and in a perfect spot for drinking now. 94/100. Drunk 26-Sep-14. Pop 'n' pour.
