Late Bottled. Light brown with an amber edge, 20% opaque. Dusty fruit nose that is quite attractive with lots of spicy tobacco and powerful marmalade. Tobacco on entry, with a lovely density and sweetness, lots of rose-hips and concentrated orange or grapefruit. Gentle acidity balances the evolved fruit and develops into a strong pine-needle flavour. The aftertaste and finish are full of aniseed, lively and peppery and has a great length. 89/100. Drunk 25-Sep-14. Decanted 5 hours.

T38LBV. Brown, 30% opaque. Nose very tawny. Palate a very viscous tawny; thick orange peel; heat mid-palate continuing, with stickiness, to the end.

DRT: It is a year older than my father, and it is wearing better than he is.
