NV Quinta do Tedo Tawny (Fine Tawny)

Chestnut red colour, 50% opaque. Gentle complex VA nose of salt and iodine. Medium-thick texture with significant tannins and lots of burnt wood, but little fruit. Chewy aftertaste and finish. 84/100. Drunk 25-Sep-14. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
