Deep rose red colour, 60% opaque and looking mature. Mature nose showing some hints of the characteristic orange and hibiscus - attractive and promising. Later very muted on the nose. Lovely texture, ripe but full of delicious fruit. A nice balance with pleasant fruit and a good balance. This port has a well constructed palate and a nice, sweet fruity finish. 85/100.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
