Mz94. Lovely red, 60% opaque. Nose dirty. Actually nose so dirty, like ’85 and ’97, that not tasted.

Deep red and attractive, showing signs of early maturity; 85% opaque. Lovely delicate fruit on the nose, a swirl of the glass bringing out sharp redcurrants. Later, the nose was still attractive and fruity. Lovely fruity palate with soft tannins giving a nice structure. Plenty of sweet and fragrant fruit on the palate. A gentle and fragrant aftertaste and a lingering finish. Soft and gentle this suffers from also being slightly flabby. 85/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
