2008 Quinta do Crasto LBV

Available at Côte in Cambridge for £4.95 for a 100ml glass.

Purple core with a light pink rim. About 95% opacity.

Nose has cedar, spice, tobacco, butter, tart plums and aniseed. Medium body, a soft entry, lovely light spice heat, almonds and light plums. This is a very good soft port, not at all blocky, well integrated already. Medium long finish of powdery tannins and acid. Very satisfying port.
