1977 Graham

Post by LGTrotter »

Clean bright colour, pale but not browning, perhaps a little on the rim. Good piquant fruit to start, seemed best at around 8 hours after opening, when it had a delicious palate of cherries and bacon fat. Rather more heat than perfect, both on the nose and in the mouth. Unctuous and soothing. Probably 89 to 90 points from most tasters, three or four more points from me. Right up my strasse. Yum.

You know us Anglo Saxons, some of us know four words in another language! But it's OK because we know how to shout loudly in our own language at people when we are abroad.
