Mz87. Dark red, 80% opaque. Little nose. Palate light, no fruit, hint of dirt. Pleasantly nothing.

Deep red and quite youthful in appearance; 95% opaque. Youthful nose full of cherry - attractive and mouthwatering. Concentrated fruit on the palate with soft tannins providing structure on the palate. Tannins are soft and chocolaty. Dry and softly tannic aftertaste, gentle and enjoyable finish. This is nice port with a lot of promise for the future. Late on the finish comes a very nice flash or orange / tangerine. 86/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
