New in the glass the acidity was too prominent, as was the heat, and I thought it over-the-hill. But then it relaxed, settling down into a comfortable rich old man role, smooth and charming, and with hints of former richness. And — breaking the analogy — great balance.
My guess of Dow 1963 wasn’t as shameful as many of my guesses over the years.
