1935 Constantino

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Dark honey brown colour, with a deeper centre and a yellow rim; 60% opaque. Powerful and concentrated colheita nose with lots of pistachio paste. On the palate this is full of honey and dates. Very vigorous, full of searing acidity. The searing acidity dominates the aftertaste and leads to a powerful coffee and grapefruit finish that slowly changes to a bitter burnt sugar. Served blind this was guessed to be Brunheda 1906. 92/100. Drunk 22-Apr-15.

Thank you Axel!
