On Saturday 9th May 2015 we had a splendid horizontal of 1945 in The RAF Club, ably arranged by Axel Probst/WorldOfPort.de.

Very faded pale rose in colour, slightly cloudy; 15% opaque. Delicate perfumed nose, strawberry and sous bois. Strawberry, light and pale on the palate, with sweet bubblegum underneath. Delicate and floral mid-palate, rather elegant. Gentle flavours on the aftertaste, with charcoal tannins showing on the long finish. Delicate and elegant with a surprising amount of fruit still showing on the wine. 85/100.
