Chestnut brown, slight peach tone ; 40% opaque. Peach and apricots on the nose, fresh and flowery. Nutty on the palate, a hint of caramel and a lot of lime. The combination is lovely and a real step up from the 10 year old. Good balance on the intense palate. An intense aftertaste and finish with lots of burnt sugar dominating. Powerful and lasting. 90/100. May 2015.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
