NV Taylor 20YO Tawny (Bottled 2014)

Post by AHB » 23:58 Sat 27 Jun 2015

Bottled 2014. Light russet-brown, 10% opaque. A gentle nose of oranges and marzipan. Hollow entry with the early palate showing little. A good mid-palate, richer and fuller with a sweet orange candy as the central feature. A gentle but chewy finish where the wine really blossoms; good length. 87/100. May 2015.
Top Port in 2017 (so far): Taylor 2010 LBV
2016 Port of the year: Cockburn 1908
