As mentioned previously on this site, my partner (Jo) and I are off for a relaxing holiday in a small cottage by the sea from 20th to 24th January.
As a reward for my better than expected success on the BIG Detox, and also to prepare myself for the forthcoming 1966 Offline on 28th January, I have decided to reward myself with a One-Man-Marathon-Horizontal-Off-line. My plan is to open 5 bottles of 1970 VP (Dalva, Dow, Morgan, Royal Oporto and Warre) and drink each of them over 5 nights.
This is partly just for my own enjoyment but also an experiment to see how these wines develop over an extended period. The results will appear here in due course but not in real time as I will have no internet connection in the cottage.
Splendid.

Re: Placemat
Thanks, jdaw.jdaw1 wrote:Placemat. Print five copies.
Fortunately, I only need one 1970 Placemat per night as Jo doesn't drink port - perhaps you could make her one with a single glass ring marked Tesco Portugues Rose
