1960 Dow

To commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II exceeding the late Queen Victoria’s record time on the throne, a select band of us, some subjects of Her Majesty, some not so blessed, gathered in the Boot & Flogger to drink ‘Port Fit for a Queen’. We did well.

D60 (IDJ). Red, 30% opaque. I found this imperfectly acidic, especially in comparison to the (BMHR) bottle. More acidic, thinner, and not showing quite right. Actually, served alone, this would have been drunk and drunk with pleasure. But in this company it paled.
