1985 Martinez Vintage Port

Post by DRT » 01:41 Sun 27 Jan 2008

One of six in a 1985 Horizontal enjoyed by Simon Lisle, Conky and myself at this offline in Craster, Northumberland on 19 Jan 2008.

Lovely dark ruby red. Slightly stale smell but with lots of fruit underneath. Good thick mouthfeel with masses of fruit - a lovely mouthfull of port.

Silkiest finish one could wish for. Not as powerful as Fonseca and Dows.
