NV Graham's Crusted Port (bottled 1999)

Post by RonnieRoots »

Tasted somewhere 2004:
Very similar in color to the Dow's. Dark cherries and plums on the nose, less striking alcohol than the Dow's. Full sweet taste with dark fruit, dark chocolate and black pepper. An addition of some bay leaves on the finish. Good tannin structure, medium bodied. More round and better structured than the Dow's. This could do with a few years of cellaring. Very good, 88 points.

This is the stuff we were getting last Christmas for £7.50 per bottle, I've got seven bottles so leaving them where they are. Thanks Ronnie.

Change of plan - mine were bottled in 2000, probably trash then.
