Slightly hazy appearance, mild red in colour. Slightly sour cranberries on the nose. Mild sweet fruit on the palate with some dryness under the fruit providing structure but there is a persistent and unattractive dirtiness. Patience and air releases some fragrance. Mild port, but pleasant enough. 83/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

35% opacity, red brown. Tobacco on the nose. Palate, a bit dirty, thin, some acidity, no backbone. Not great all round.

QH85. Red red orange. Nose showing sweetness. Palate has all of dark plum, bitterness, and grit. Which made for lovely drinking.
