1994 Warre LBV

Post by benread »

I've just opened a bottle of this expecting something of a treat from a great year but advanced enough to drink now.

First impression? I'm about 20 years premature!

Will update later. Image

Very dark in colour with only a slight translucency around the edge. Very fruity nose.

Not quite as full bodied to taste as I expected but very pleasant. Slightly minty. Tannic.

This feels like it has the characteristics on 1994 VP. Too young to drink!
