Clear medium darker red colour. The fruit is there, surprisignly I get ripe banana (?), mocha, raisins and chocolate. Sweet, with high enough acidity to keep it fresh and vibrant. The tannins seem to want to go mellow but my gums experienced a slight grippy feel. Maybe this is one to cellar for a bit longer, would like to see how it evolves in the future.

70% opacity, deep red. Good balance, good tannins, fullness, a tiny edge of acidity in the finish. Dark fruits all the way through. Licking my lips after this one! I liked this a lot - I think it will improve with more time.

V92 75% opacity. Slight spice accompanying the fruits. It tasted more like a big Shiraz wine than a port, but with lots of sweet fruit and some alcohol on the finish.

Bottle 10511. Dark red and concentrated appearance, opaque centre. Limited on the nose but a swirl releases delicious bramble fruit. Balanced texture on the palate, combining deep fruit and gentle tannins. Concentrated black fruit pastilles dominate the flavours, but the balance is ideal. The black pastilles lead on the aftertaste to a great, dark chocolate finish. 89/100
