Clear medium dark red. The mouth holds nicely here, bursting with plum, red damson jam, ripe banana, tobacco and some smoke. Sweet palate, with lovely balancing acidity and spices. Very good length.Dia - 93/100- 24/02/2016

70% opacity, deep red. A little closed on the nose for me. In the mouth, some pepper, but also fabulous sweetness - rich milk chocolate. Very nice port.

V94 80% opacity but redder in colour than the 92 or the 95. Great balance and structure with the tannins still showing big. A good example of this vintage, but also showing that this is too young still to be enjoyed at its finest. This will be a classic in decdes to come.

Bottle 35294. Dark red, mature in tone; opaque at the centre but with a wide rim. Fresh and lively on the nose, the scent just flowing out of the glass, mixing fruit and foliage. Sweet fruit concentrates on the palate with a richness and depth to the mid-palate, combining with soft tannins to give a great experience. Some heat on the aftertaste, then a long and very fine finish. Huge length and a massive finish - so much concentrated fruit. 93/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

V94. Dark red, 80% opaque. Lighter than ’94 should be. Approachable, lovely, hint of heat, but not for the ages.
