Re: 1991 Vesuvio
40% opacity, warm dark red. Nose has something synthetic, hospital-like. Suspect TCA. In the mouth, again something a little synthetic, chemical tasting. Still drinkable, but not ideal.

Re: 1991 Vesuvio
The colour is clear medium red with a light brown tinge on the rim. The nose is mouldy ( not heavily though). Although corked the wine seems to hold plenty of fruit in the backround sadly unadentified. Sweet palate. I look forward to trying this again and reassess.
Re: 1991 Quinta do Vesuvio
V91 The second lightest with 55% opacity. Slight cork smell on the nose and again on the taste. General agreement that this was corked but only marginally. Still drinkable but not the best example of this port I am sure.

V91. Dark red, 70% opaque. Palate light; some fruit — red, mostly strawberry and raspberry. Lighter than ideal.
