V08 100% opacity. Not as big on the fruits as the 07 or younger ports. More tannins and leathers showing

Deep red, medium rim. Fragrant nose that is fruity and very full. Youthful entry that comes across as aggressive; light on fruit at first with powerful and gripping tannins. Fruity finish, long and full of chewy, tannic blackcurrant. 90/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

V08. Medium weight. Grit, fruit, and heat — too hot.
