1982 Smith Woodhouse LBV

Sweet fruit on the nose, attractive and delicious. Smooth and balanced on the palate, packed with elegant fruit. This grows on the palate and delivers a lovely and complex palate. Light and lively with great balance. Fruity but with a fresh green edge. The finish is enjoyable; this is a lovely port that is mature but not in need of drinking any time soon. 91/100. 17-Mar-16.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
