Nice ruby core with bricking around the edges. 50?% opaque.

A beautiful nose of toasted nuts mixed with stewed blackberries and a hint of balsamic. Pretty violets underlies the nose but a note of spirits are apparent.

Silky smooth mouthfeel of lightly burnt sugar that opens up into plums, cranberries. The flavors enhance when the fine spirits allows the palate to extract out cinnamon and grated ginger spices. It finishes with notes of sugared orange zest with a surprising touch of tannins that leaves you salivating for the next taste!

fantastically balanced port and still one of my favorites
