30% opacity, orange brown and very cloudy. Sugar nose. A bit un-integrated. Hot initially, sweetness but an un-integrated acidity in the finish with some bitterness.

Very cloudy, toffee brown colour. Very peculiar nose, some caramelised oranges but not right. Toffee and caramel on the initial palate, then the orange comes through; fresh but slightly tawny. Toffee on the aftertaste with sugar cane and molasses on the finish. Nice port, but not in the same class as the other ports in the flight. 87

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Cá66. Red, 50% opaque, cloudy. Palate “Bitter; good grip”.
