Deep brick red colour, 30% opaque. Little on the nose, a faint cola smell. Rounded and mouthfilling texture, full of fruit and with good focus. Bigger and better than the 10 year old shown alongside. Big finish and aftertaste. 88/100. 22-Apr-16
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
