An excellent evening organised by Wolfgang. Some lovely Clarets, some — like some of us — not entirely improved by the passage of the decades. Thank you for inviting me; thank you for inviting my father.

It was a pleasure! As always with old wine some bts work out and some others do not. I still prefer the older wines in style compared to the new wines which are mostly a bit to manuafctured and made in a very primary fruit driven style.
And great to see your father! Indeed the apple has not fallen far from the tree! :)
