30% opacity. Slightly citric nose. Dried fruits - oranges this time! Dryness and crisp acidity.

Pale orange colour, 30% opaque. Nosing of gentle mandarin and rose hip syrup, sweet and appetizing. Gentle, languid entry, full of soft flavours which build up to a fanfare of citrus. A lovely aftertaste of powerful orange oil, very full in volume, leads to an aromatic finish that is a huge mouthful of flavour, long and chewy. This is an intriguing port that is light and elegant but with a surprising punch. 92/100. Decanted 3 hours.
Top Ports in 2018 (so far): Niepoort VV (1960's Bottling), Quinta do Noval Nacional 1994 and San Leonardo Very Old White (Bottled 2018)
2017 Ports of the year: Fonseca 1927 and Quinta do Noval 1927

N63. Orange-red, cloudy, 40% opaque. Saccharine — again — mid weight, and, also again, mint.
