Bottled by Peatling & Cawdron. Deep mature red in colour, 70% opaque. Fresh nose, but with a slight touch of oxidation showing as a hint of menthol. Nice round texture on the palate with the oxidation just showing over the sweet burnt fruit; there is a pleasing depth to the smoky fruit. Some heat shows on the aftertaste, which leads to a sweet and sticky finish of great duration - really long with a grassy green hit at the end. This is a big flavoured port with great depth. 91/100. Drunk 06-Apr-17. Decanted 2½ hours.
