Bring a bottle (blind)
I have two problems.
a) We have no PF events in May.
b) I need an excuse to cart a load of 67 port to the B&F.
Is anyone able to help me out of this difficult situation? Does Wed 10th May work?
Current draft of
the placemats.

From a purely selfish perspective I'd like it to be the following week as I'm away on holiday that week but I should think there'll be takers for this date.

Probably.
And may I invite my guest (again)?
Blind or sighted? (Assuming no theme beyond “Bring a bottle of [Vintage] Port to Share”.)

I may be able to join you but won't know until much nearer the time. I do feel port-deficient at present!

Their reservations system is down at the moment so I will confirm tomorrow.
Suggest bring a bottle blind.
Cheers

I am very disappointed to have to drop out of this gathering. I have a work commitment now... but shall look forward to seeing most of you at the 67 tasting instead. Apologies.

Excellent news.
There is a very small possibility that I might be able to attend. I won't know for sure until I am leaving Milton Keynes tomorrow afternoon / evening whether I have the opportunity to travel through London via Borough or will have to go directly from Euston to Waterloo to get home.
Top Ports in 2019: Niepoort VV (1960s bottling) and Quinta do Noval Nacional 2017

Hi Guys
New to the group and would love to attend a tasting or two. Tomorrow is a bit of short notice. Do we have a programme of events during the year?

Excellent. See you tomorrow, 18:30,
Boot & Flogger. For the
placemats, are your initials ‘PAR’? Right-handed?
(You wouldn’t be
the first to come to a tasting the day after signing up.)

I did warn you about the invitations, Paul
If you can't make tomorrow just keep an eye on this section of the forum for forthcoming events, many of which happen at short notice:
