Hello. I’m unlikely to be your buyer. Nonetheless:
• Is each ‘case’ a dozen, or a modern-style half-dozen?
• Where are you? Or, more importantly, where is the Port?

All are full case (x12 bottles). I believe this is a genuinely rare opportunity to buy class port which has been stored and looked after properly. Unfortunately I don’t drink the stuff! It is in my cellar in Wiltshire!

While it’s always good to have VP, it’s not a rare opportunity. You’ll have issues selling these privately to any knowledgeable Port lover as 1977 Dows has a very large TCA issue and the 1991’s haven’t aged so well. The 83’s are your best bet. Though good, it’s still not a top Vintage for that house.

I have no skin in the game just giving you some unbiased background on your bottles.

Dreweatt Neate is an auction house based in Newbury who have wine sales several time a year. They might be a good option for you to sell your bottles.

As Andy says, they might not be easy to sell privately but they will sell easily at an auction.

I should also be clear - I buy occasionally from DNFA but have no other association with them.

I'd be interested in the 83 Graham's if you've had a chance to think about what you would like to sell for?
