70% opaque. Spirity on the nose. Some nice cherries on the palate, and it grew in the glass over three hours. Very good near-term drinking.

One of the darkest. A dense smoky dried red fruit nose. Becoming more plummy with air. Good smooth fruit driven entry – quite warming too but good balance overall so attractively so. Persistent and warming finish that felt quite long. This was one of my surprises, I appreciate the house style tending towards rich and firm but this showed a good sense of integration and smoothness that added a layer of sophistication; hence it took my 3rd spot.

70% opacity, very dark red. Young, lively nose, red fruit, cherries and cranberries, then some coffee. Lovely, sweet, rich full mouthfeel, young red fruit, cranberries, soft tannins in the finish, and some coffee with mild bitterness.

GC94. Dark red, 60% opaque. Mid-to-light; spearmint; dry, especially mid-palate. Nice balance though.

Also “Later: lighter”.
