1982 Graham Single Harvest Tawny (bottled 2021)

Post by jdaw1 »

1982 Graham colheita, from a 5cl supplied by Vintage Wine and Port (• planning, • placemats, • Symington presentation). Tasted eight days after the official event. TNs: 1994; 1990; 1982; 1974; 1963.

Bright start, showing spearmint, maybe grapefruit, soft sugars, and an acidic grip. The acidity very strong at the end, giving it power.

Twenty days later: the acidity still prominent. Again, possibly grapefruit. Less rounded and balanced than the ’94 and ’90.
