VWP - Quevedo Taste at Home - Blend your own Vintage Port (11th November 2021)

Post by Doggett »

So, another online tasting from VWP and Oscar Quevedo, this time… Blending your own Vintage Port! Who doesn’t want a try at this?!?! Details below and the link to VWP

Quevedo Taste at Home - Blend Your Own Vintage Port - Online Tutored Tasting
Follow the tasting on You Tube on 11th November 2021 at 7pm

We have again teamed up with Oscar Quevedo to bring you a Taste At Home Blend Your Own Vintage Port tasting experience on YouTube Live. This is our most ambitious and fun tasting yet!

Oscar will introduce his family winery and lead you through a tutorial on how to blend a Vintage port. You will have the 4 main components that Claudia Quevedo uses to make their award winning 2019 Vintage Port. Can you do better? Make up your blend under Oscars guidance and compare with their final blend

The pack contains 90ml sample bottles of:
- four components used to make up a Vintage Port
- The final blend - Quevedo's 2019 Vintage Port

We only have 100 packs available and our recent tastings have sold out. The bottles are 90ml which adds up to a total of 450ml (just under 2/3 of a regular 75cl bottle). This should be enough for 2 to share the experience.

***Please note that these tasting packs are only available for delivery to UK Mainland addresses***

Edited to show the correct date of Thursday 11th November @7pm

I haven’t made placemats. What’s needed? Even if only for people to print at home.

That would be kind and very useful.

Six glasses on A4:

-Component 1
-Component 2
-Component 3
-Component 4
-Quevedo 2019 Blend
-Blender’s Blend [or improved Jdaw phrasing]

Many thanks in advance.

Draft of the placemats.

Please inspect and critique (except the font choice, which is an official Quevedo font)

That’s great Julian, thank you. And who could argue with an official font. Much appreciated.
