NV Quinta da Devesa Tawny 10YO (bottled 2022)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2022. Burnt umber in colour, deep and vibrant. Fragrant nose of honey and marmalade. Nicely balanced palate with honey and a delicious bitter-sweet quince. Warm dried fruit flavours envelope the tongue. A little menthol on the aftertaste and a long finish of burnt sugar and charred orange peel. A deep and rich 10YO, one of the best on the market and good value for money @ £22.50. 91/100. Drunk 13-May-22. Decanted 1 hour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
