From an in bond OWC of six magnums purchased 2-3 years ago from a merchant.
OWC was shiny new, and magnums were freshly labelled and rewaxed.

Half of these were passed on to other TPFists and this is the first I've opened.

Level well into neck, but once the wax was broken off (not easily) cork was found to be slightly protruding and seeping. Cork removed fairly easily and was completely saturated. Decanted clean with less sediment than possibly anticipated.

30-40% opacity, a nice pale ruby tone.
Maybe a little VA, but not unpleasant; some light fruit notes accompany leather and orange.
Not much tannin left, so acidity a bit to the fore, but not wildly out of balance. Has a nice Haribo juiciness.

Quite nice and looking forwards to drinking (by myself) over the next few days.

If you have any of these suggest you check that the wax is holding and look to drink up over the next couple of years.
