Graham 1983: Dark purple in color. Very nice dark, plummy nose with notes of floral perfume. On the palate, still fairly tannic, rich plummy flavor with a hint of dark roast coffee on the finish. Definitely my style of port, and my top port of the evening.

Graham 1983: Dark translucent red, nosing of sweetness — oh sweetness! — and black fruit. Likewise to taste, though somewhat softer and blander than the ’85, though very obviously its sibling.

+0 Pomegranate and chocolate
+8 (@tasting) Cherries and a touch of Licorice show on the nose of this deep ruby Graham's 1983. It continues with a fruitiness, perhaps pomegranate, and a sweet butteriness (derived from g-man's sweetened condensed milk suggestion). Otherwise, this is a very straightforward port with little intrigue but decent balance. (91, drink)
