4,800 cases made. Mature red in colour, 70% opaque. Limited scent on the nose. Balanced on entry, sweet fruit but a balanced acidity supporting the fruit. Develops beautifully with strawberry syrup. Hot aftertaste, but flavoursome finish with a delicious by cocoa and sour grapes. Well balanced wine. 86/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
