FG76. Near black darker than the F85 and 90% opaque. The nose had oil, perhaps WD40. Strange. To taste dry, tobacco, and closed. I thought too young.

We discussed the hypothesis that the colour was not entirely of grape origin. Well, perhaps. An interesting wine that I liked and want to retest.

Very, very dark with a pitch black centre and a slightly rusty rim. Nosing of lemon oil and lavender. Sweet and floral entry with dustiness from the tannins and concentrated blackcurrants. Big aftertaste and a finish of dry blackcurrants and blackcurrant skins, of an astonishing length. 91/100.
