S47. Very red, 60% opaque. Nose had a hint of smokey meat. To taste strawberry early palate. Dry mid-palate. Sugar, brown sugar, rolls on and on.

20% opaque, orange / brown in colour. Faint nose, a swirl releases a lovely concentrated sweet rose-hip. Gentle sweet impact, medium bodied; ripe fruit with a cut of lime acidity. Lovely palate. Hot burst on the aftertaste, then a lovely intense caramelised orange finish. Delicious. 90/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
