Opaque, with a solid red core. Youthful fruit with dry blackcurrants on top. Subdued fruit on the palate, with restrained blackcurrant and firm tannins drying the teeth. Fruit has good persistence and volume. Blackcurrant dominates the aftertaste and leads to a long and amazing fruit finish of great length. 92/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
