Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Bottled 1978. The colour of burnt sugar, 10% opaque. Smelling of brown sugar and dates. Sweet and concentrated entry, with an acidic streak full of clover honey and grapefruit smothered in brown sugar. There is an interesting bitterness to the edges of the tongue; a nice combination of sweet and sour. Hot aftertaste, then a lingering golden syrup and lime acidity. This is a nice colheita. 89/100.
