Deep red with an opaque magenta core. Muted on the nose, but gentle floral and full of hay. Thick in texture with rich blackcurrant fruit , supporting chalky tannins and gentle acidity. Medium bodied and nicely flavoured. Light aftertaste, but a decent finish that grows to a tasty, dry but sticky finish of big volume. Comes across as slightly lighter than a good LBV, and is very attractive. 83/100.
