Rich red colour, starting to soften. Attractive blackcurrant nose, sharp and hard. Restrained fruit on th palate, dominating over the firm tannins. This rewards patience, holding the port on the tongue allows good development of fruit. Big tannic aftertaste and a delightful long finish. Delicious - young but very drinkable. 88/100. 10-Jun-12. Decanted 1 hour.
