Dark red, opaque. Slightly medicinal nose, with ripe but sharp fruit; pleasant. Sour and acidic impact, which dominates over the fruit. The tannins are gentle and only show on the finish, which follows on from a sharp and unpleasant aftertaste. I suspect this is in a closed phase and would have benefited from a longer decant. 83/100. Decanted 3 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

very metalic taste, dark red colour, unbalanced and a bit closed. Dry finish. Very disappointing in its current phase or bad bt.
